The chief purpose of UPSC interview:

The first and foremost thing to know about the interview test conducted by the UPSC  is, that it is essentially a PERSONALITY TEST, not simply  an intelligence and aptitude  test. Intelligence and aptitude are tested in  the preliminary and main examinations.

It is important to know that there are many different ways of dealing with this stage of exam. Now every mark you get would be due to your personality, not due to your intellect.

The central values of a candidate, which give birth to attitude and interest, are judged by the board from what you say and show during the session. All these happen in about half an hour.

So it becomes very important for every candidate to scrutinize the developed traits and tendencies and make the necessary modifications if required. Otherwise, be prepared for the next attempt.

Please note that correctness of answers in any interview test does not guarantee a good score. What matters most in a personality test is consistency , spontaneity  rationality, firmness of responses and one's attitude to accommodate critical and varied views as well as to move along harmoniously with most others

How does this program help?

  • Personal Guidance: A one to one interview session with Arun Kumar is conducted . He will let you know your strength and weakness   . He will also suggest the remedial measures so that you could be better prepared to face the UPSC board. The most common errors in the preparation for IAS-interview is trying to memorize facts and figures related to general and optional studies and preparing ready-made/ teacher made answers. All these answers will be proved alien to you once you enter the interview board room...what remains left there is your true self..We try to shape your coherence and help you manage inconsistencies.
  • No. of sessions: it depends upon  one's requirements. if everything is assessed as good, only one session will be enough.
  • Fee: @ Rs 1500 per personal session.
